Designations and Certifications

*EPA Technician Certification

The United States Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) has established a mandatory program that requires all technicians to be certified before performing maintenance, service, repair, or disposal of an appliance that contains refrigerant chemicals. Learn more here.

*General Contractor License

Texas does not license General contractors at the state level. However, many municipalities do require licenses. Check with local city/county requirements and regulations. Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, Asbestos abatement and other specialty trades require a state license. Learn more here.

*ACBM Certification

This training is for workers who may conduct activity related asbestos abatement activities. This training program consists of an initial training period, the duration of which is determined by the type of work the employee performs, and annual refresher training.
